Three New Flavors of Girl Scout Cookies

The three flavors are:

  1.  Gluten-Free Trios. These are gluten-free peanut butter and chocolate chip cookies made from whole grain oats.
  2.  Gluten-Free Toffee-tastic. These are butter cookies with little toffee bits.
  3.  Rah-Rah Raisins. These are basically oatmeal raisin cookies with a bad-sounding twist.  They’re made with whole grain oats, raisins, and Greek yogurt-flavored chunks.

Drake is whole heartedly again the gluten free ones. Even going as far to say they’re banned in his house! He sites this WebMD article for his non-gluten free leanings for people who don’t have celiac disease.

Mel on the other hand is much more tolerant and says she can’t wait to try them!

Don’t get your hopes up just yet though, these new flavors aren’t going to be everywhere. Girl Scouts are rolling them out in test markets this year.  In doing research, we couldn’t find where the test markets are going to be, but here’s hoping one of them will be here in Aggieland!
