There’s more to Dierks Bentley’s new song, “Woman, Amen”… In fact, it’s the women this song is about that are so special, the Floyd family, a real-life mother-daughter that continue to selflessly serve the people of Nashville.
Sydnee Floyd was born with PFAPA, a syndrome that results in fevers and sore throats, and EDS, a condition that affects the connective tissue in her body. Together with her single mom, Jennifer, they have raised money for cancer research, prepared meals at homeless shelters, wrapped gifts for people in need, and distributed socks, shoes and backpacks filled with school supplies for elementary school students.
