Miranda Lambert Spent the Weekend Kissing Her Boyfriend and Singing with the Pistol Annies
MIRANDA LAMBERT gave a little birthday sugar to her boyfriend ANDERSON EAST, who turned 28 on Sunday. She posted a photo of them kissing and captioned it, “Happy Birthday to my favorite ‘Bama boy. @Anderson-East.”
A few days earlier she gave her audience a PISTOL ANNIES treat. She brought out ASHLEY MONROE and ANGALEENA PRESLEY to do some classic Annies’ music.
And as you know by now, Miranda released a new song yesterday called “Vice“.
She decided to say a few words about it in an audio post on Facebook.
Quote, “I just hope everybody that hears it can kind of feel like they’re not on an island. [We] can’t all be sunshine and roses every day and sometimes when we’re not, we find things that make us feel better at the moment and that’s what a vice is.”
“Vice” is the first single from her upcoming album.
No word on a release date or title, although there are rumors it’ll be called “Records I Never Heard”.
Chris Lane is Open to Being on “The Bachelorette”
CHRIS LANE admits he’s addicted to “The Bachelorette”, so he was asked if he’d be interested in being ON the show. He said, quote, “Maybe in a couple of years. I’m still trying to get my career off the ground but . . . maybe when I settle down a bit.”
Chris certainly fits the profile.
He was recently named one of the “10 Sexiest Male Country Stars” . . . so he’s got that going for him.
The Oak Ridge Boys, Mark Wills, Collin Raye, Tanya Tucker, T.G. Sheppard, Mickey Gilley, and Moe Bandy are some of the country artists performing at “Stars Behind the Stars” at Billy Bob’s Texas. It’s a benefit for the families of the Dallas Police Shootings and it’s going down July 27th. Grab details at BillyBobsTexas.com.
ERIC CHURCH posted a “rarely-seen” video on his Facebook page. It’s his song “Sinners Like Me”, which is the title track from his 2006 debut album. He definitely looks younger, and he’s also NOT wearing his ever-present sunglasses.
Vince Gill, Chris Stapleton, and James Taylor are performing at the next “All for the Hall” benefit, which is being held September 27th in Los Angeles. Proceeds help support the museum’s education programs. Details are at CountryMusicHallOfFame.org.
KENNY CHESNEY is launching a new line of camping-type products . . . like coolers, backpacks, and tumblers. A portion of the proceeds will go to the Coastal Conservation Association and their efforts to build artificial reefs. (Full Story)
