Kelli Pickler Dismisses Fans on Their Phones

Kellie Pickler “Dismisses” People in Her Concerts Who Focus Too Much on Their Smart Phones

If you’d like KELLIE PICKLER to actually look at you while she’s on stage . . . then put down your smart phone.  She hates it when audience members focus on their phones instead of the show.

She says, quote, “I dismiss the people with their phones and try to perform to those paying attention.  If someone [has] their phone in front of their face the whole time, there’s a barrier.  It’s like they put up a shield that says they don’t want to be bothered.

“There’s no eye contact.  All I notice are the phones.  It’s distracting.  [These] people paid all this money to be in the front row, and they’re holding up their phones.  They could’ve sat at home and watched me on YouTube.”

She also thinks it’s bad manners.  Quote, “It’s rude and disrespectful.  I’d much rather spend my time engaging with someone and thinking to myself, why they connect with the song.  You have to be present.  You have to be in the moment.”

JASON ALDEAN’s “Gonna Know We Were Here” video features current clips of his former high school, Windsor Academy in Macon, Georgia.  Also:  Jason announced the dates of his 24-city “We Were Here Tour 2016”, which kicks off January 14th in Moline, Illinois.  Details are at JasonAldean.com.

LUKE BRYAN felt the chorus of “Strip It Down” explained the song perfectly.  Quote, “When you talk about ‘Feel my belt, turn loose from these old blue jeans.’  It’s pretty visual, risqué, and paints the picture of that moment.”

LITTLE BIG TOWN posted a photo of their singer Jimi Westbrook on a fishing trip with Luke Bryan and Chris Stapleton.  It’s captioned, “That bass was so big we couldn’t get all of it in the picture.”  (From left to right it’s Chris, Jimi, and Luke.)

OLD DOMINION recently talked about a fan who split with her boyfriend because of their song “Break Up With Him”.  They said the girl’s mom added, “I’m a fan too.  She really needed to break up with that guy.”  (Delicious Audio)
