Josh Turner and his wife Jennifer have announced the birth of their fourth child. Samuel Hawke Turner arrived Thursday (Sept. 4) and weighed 8 pounds, 6 ounces.
They are parents of three other sons — Hampton, Colby and Marion.
“God has truly blessed Jennifer and me with this healthy little boy,” Turner said. “We are so thankful and excited to see our family grow yet again.”
Earlier this year, Turner shared his experiences and life lessons learned from being a son, a husband and a father in his book, Man Stuff: Devotional Thoughts on Faith, Family and Fatherhood.
His sixth album will be released in early 2015. “Lay Low,” the first single from the project, will be released to country radio on Sept. 15.
According to his website, Turner is scheduled to perform Saturday at Billy Bob’s Texas in Fort Worth and will travel to Gstaad, Switzerland, for appearances at the Country Night Gstaad festival on Sept. 12-13.
