Florida Georgia Line to Host Inaugural American Country Countdown Awards

Brian Kelley and Tyler Hubbard of Florida Georgia Line have been tapped to co-host the inaugural American Country CountdownAwards on Dec. 15, making a logical alignment of the new awards franchise and one of country’s hottest new groups.

“Brian and Tyler are incredible artists and friends with undeniable chemistry that will make them the perfect hosts for the first-ever American Country Countdown Awards,” said Mark Bracco, EVP, Programing and Development, dick clark productions.

The two-hour program, which will be held Dec. 15 at Nashville’s Music City Center, will salute the year’s best in country music and boast numerous performances from country’s biggest artists. Additionally, the first-ever “NASH Icons” award winner will be announced. The show is based on the long-running radio countdown, American Country Countdown With Kix Brooks, distributed by Westwood One for Cumulus and airing on 280 radio stations.

The American Country Countdown Awards airs live on FOX Monday, Dec. 15 at 8 p.m. ET.
