Tanya Tucker turns 56 today! Happy Birthdayyy Delta Dawn!!

Jokes about CARRIE UNDERWOOD’S pregnancy will be a huge topic when she and BRAD PAISLEY host the CMAs next month.  The show’s head writer told the “Tennessean”, quote, “Carrie provided a huge spark for us by getting knocked up.  She gave us the greatest baby gift of all.”

TheBoot.com put out a list of “The Top 10 Country Songs of Faith.”  It’s not about sales or chart placement, but simply their favorite country songs about faith. Here’s the list:

1.  “When I Get Where I’m Going“, Brad Paisley and Dolly Parton

2.  “Three Wooden Crosses“, Randy Travis

3.  “Family Bible“, George Jones

4.  “Jesus, Take the Wheel“, Carrie Underwood

5.  “Believe“, Brooks & Dunn

6.  “Go Rest High On That Mountain“, Vince Gill

7.  “I Saw God Today“, George Strait

8.  “The Old Rugged Cross“, Johnny Cash

9.  “Angels Among Us“, Alabama

10.  “New Again“, Sara Evans and Brad Paisley

HILLARY SCOTT says LADY ANTEBELLUM had to “exit their comfort zone” to come up the sound of their new album “747”.  It’s especially true for their single “Freestyle”, which mixes country-funk and gospel.

ALAN JACKSON did his first of two artist-in-residence performances at the Country Music Hall of Fame and Museum on Wednesday.  He was there to honor the exhibit “Alan Jackson: 25 Years of Keepin’ It Country”.  He also rolled out a brand new song called “Angels and Alcohol”, which is from an album of new songs he’s been working on.  Unfortunately, no word on the album’s title or when it’ll be out.

CDs for Tuesday:

  • “Anything Goes”, Florida Georgia Line.
  • “American Middle Class”, Angaleena Presley of the Pistol Annies
  • “The Swon Brothers”, The Swon Brothers from the third season of “The Voice”

Tonight you can watch Angaleena Presley on “Letterman”.
