Jake Owen Cut His Hair Because He Was Bored . . . And Then Saved it in a Box
JAKE OWEN did an interview with “Glamour“, and as you’d expect, they covered all the important issues like, why did he cut his hair, and did his save any of it? He was kind enough to humor them.
He said, quote, “I don’t know, I got bored. I have it in the house in this box. It’s a lot of hair, believe it or not.” He also learned people weren’t as much in love with his precious hair as he thought.
Quote, “The consensus seems to be . . . I mean, it’s weird, people come up to me and say, “You look way better with short hair,” and I’m like, ‘[Crap], I wish someone had told me this 10 years ago!'”
Later in the interview he revealed a marriage tip that he got from his mother. Quote, “She said being married is not a 50/50 deal. Sometimes my dad gives 10% and she has to give 90% and vice versa.
“She said you’ll never be 50/50, it’s always one or the other. If someone’s having a bad day, no matter if you want to or not, the other person needs you to lift them up, and I’ve learned that.”

“And then you got a skeleton, which is the song by itself, and then you gotta put an outfit on it. So you gotta dress the song up and get it set for where it’s going to be going.”
