Willie Nelson Is Proud of His “Long-Term Marriage” . . . with Pot
We all know pot is the love of WILLIE NELSON’S life. But did you know he cheated on it with LSD back in the ’70s? Okay, I’m half-joking, but he did admit to doing acid in his book, “It’s a Long Story: My Life”, which came out Tuesday.
It happened when a friend convinced him to try acid right before going on stage. That’s dangerous enough, but he accidentally took a triple dose. Here’s what happened: Quote, “As I started singing, my voice sounded like it was coming from inside a cave.
“The flickering lights out in the crowd took the form of fiery figures. Was I freaking? Were there demons out there?” When it was done, so was he. Quote, “Experimenting with LSD convinced me that I had already found the high that worked for me.
“My love affair with pot became a long-term marriage. It was, by far, the smoothest of all my marriages. Pot never brought me down, never busted my [chops]. Pot got me up and took me where I needed to go. Pot chased my blues away.
“When it came to calming my energy and exciting my imagination, pot did the trick damn near every time I toked.”
Zac Brown Has Designed a Line of “Masculine and Cool” Jewelry
ZAC BROWN is in the jewelry business. He helped designed a line of chain and pendant jewelry called “William Henry’s Jekyll + Hyde”. (William Henry is the designer, and “Jekyll + Hyde” is the new Zac Brown Band album.)
He tells “People“, quote, “I’m really particular about the jewelry I wear, so I wanted to help create something super masculine and cool.”
We’re talking high-end stuff. His signature pendant is a sterling silver guitar-pick holder that will cost you $1,499. But hey, it actually holds up to three picks. There’s also a sterling silver skull pendant at the bargain price of $190.
This is mostly about charity. 20% of the profits will go to his Camp Southern Ground. He says, quote, “We’re building a sleep-away camp for kids of all abilities. We’ll have children with developmental disorders mixed in with kids who do not.
“Kids [will] come from all different kinds of economic situations. It’s a $1 million project and it’s basically a big healing university. I’m really excited to provide opportunities to kids. To teach a kid and instill some hope in them.”

CARRIE UNDERWOOD posted a “vacation selfie” on Instagram. It’s a headshot of her relaxing on a beach towel while wearing sunglasses and what looks to be a bathing suit top.
RAELYNN posted two photos of that birthday bash JOHN RICH threw for her at his house in Nashville on Tuesday. She wrote, “Thank you @BIG AND RICH for hosting my 21st birthday. So much fun! #21st house party.”
