Kenny Chesney and Jason Aldean Will Perform Old School Songs on Their Stadium Tour
JASON ALDEAN and KENNY CHESNEY have some surprises planned for when they co-headline those 10 stadium dates this summer.
Jason explains, quote, “It’s not just [Kenny’s] normal show, not just my normal show, it’s something that’s really cool and different.” The plan is for each of them to perform on their own, and then take the stage together.
Here’s a taste of how that will go: Quote, “You’re going to hear songs that you wouldn’t typically hear from us. Some Americana type stuff, plus BOB SEGER, JOHN MELLENCAMP.” (Rolling Stone)
In a separate interview he talked about some other components. Quote, “It’s going to be interactive, something different for him, different for me. I’m excited.”
A Water Leak Destroyed Keifer and Shawna Thompson’s House in Alabama
A water pipe leak in an upstairs bathroom destroyed the Alabama home of KEIFER and SHAWNA THOMPSON. It was terrible luck because it started when they were on a six-day road trip, and by the time it was discovered everything was ruined.
That kind of water damage is dangerous, so they had to remove almost everything. Keifer said, quote, “It literally destroyed the house. It’s all down to studs.” If you’re looking for a silver lining, they did salvage their ACM and CMA Top Vocal Duo trophies. (KTIC-FM)
Tim McGraw Used an Old Santana Song to Get Lucky with Faith Hill
TIM MCGRAW is a guest on tomorrow’s episode of “Rachael Ray”, and in the preview clip, he talks about the smooth moves he put on FAITH HILL when they were dating in 1996. The best part is when he shares the advice his uncle gave him . . . that if he ever “got lucky” while listening to SANTANA’s song “Samba Pa Ti“, he should marry that girl.
BRETT ELDREDGE showed off his awesome crooner skills doing a karaoke version of the FRANK SINATRA classic “Summer Wind”. Watch Here!
LITTLE BIG TOWN guitarist PHILLIP SWEET fractured his hand while packing for the ACMs earlier this month . . . but it hasn’t stopped him from performing. In fact, he didn’t even know it was broken until a few days after it happened. (The Country Vibe)
