Hillary Scott’s Tour Bus Caught Fire . . . Nobody Was Hurt

HILLARY SCOTT’s tour bus caught fire yesterday on the way to the ACMs in Texas . . . no one was injured.  The other members of LADY ANTEBELLUM were not on the bus.

She was traveling with her husband and tour manager when a tire blew out, and that led to the back of the bus catching fire.  A fire department spokesman gave props to the driver for moving fast to get everyone out of harm’s way.

Hillary wrote about it on Facebook:  “Hey guys, we had a crazy morning on the way to Dallas today.  Our bus tire caught on fire and we had to evacuate very quickly. Everyone is safe and sound.

“It was me, my husband, our tour manager, and driver.  Thanking God for our safety and the safety of all of those who helped put this fire out and keep us safe.  Love you all.”

Beyoncé Endorsed Miranda Lambert for ACM Entertainer of the Year

If you’re one of those people who believe in the star power of BEYONCÉ, then put your money on MIRANDA LAMBERT winning Entertainer of the Year on Sunday.

She endorsed her in a post on social media, and then Miranda retweeted it and wrote, “This just happened.  Whaaaaa?!”

Speaking of the ACMs, “People” wondered who her date will be since BLAKE SHELTON is co-hosting with LUKE BRYAN.

She said, quote, “Last year it was my grandmother, and I brought my brother before.  This year, it’s ASHLEY MONROE.  She’s [my] best friend.  She’s going to sit with me and be my date.”

One last thing:  Miranda revealed that she cowrote a song called “Two Of A Crime” for the movie “Hot Pursuit”.  That’s the comedy starring REESE WITHERSPOON and SOFIA VERGARA, and it’ll be out May 8th.

Raelynn’s Song “For A Boy” Was Inspired by a “Sneak Attack Date”

RAELYNN’s “For A Boy” was inspired by a guy she knew who tried to go from the friend zone to the end zone.  Sadly, at least for him, she didn’t see him “that way” . . . but she did get a song out of it.

She says, quote, “I wrote [it] about this date I went on.  I call them sneak attack dates.  A guy tells you he wants to go to dinner and then ends up paying for your food and starts telling you about how he feels and stuff.

“You’re like, ‘Oh my gosh, this is really weird.’  You just thought you were friends.”

The spark for the song came as she was telling her mom about it.  She adds, quote, “I was like, ‘For a boy, I really do believe him.'”  But she still wasn’t interested.
