Brett Eldredge Drank Lots of Whiskey Recording Christmas Album

The Whiskey Flowed While Brett Eldredge Recorded his Christmas Album

BRETT ELDREDGE’s holiday album “Glow” is more Frank Sinatra than Hank Williams, and I’m not even talking about the sound . . . although that’s true too.  He wanted it to have a big band vibe and here’s how he did it.

He recorded it at the same New York studio that a lot of jazz greats used to use, and he drank whiskey every single day.  (???)

He says, quote, “I’d get up, go to the gym, drink my coffee, put on a suit, get to the studio, pour a glass of whiskey and start recording.  Sinatra loved Jack Daniel’s, and I’m always inspired by him, especially being in New York City.”

He also drank scotch, because the head of his record label loves it . . . and that’s good enough reason, right?  Quote, “We knew he was coming by so I got some Macallan [scotch] and we sipped that as well.”

This is good news:  WILLIE NELSON was back on stage performing in Lake Charles, Louisiana on Friday.  You may remember he cancelled two shows earlier in the week because of illness.  According toNashCountryDaily.com he played a full set of all the favorites.

LAUREN ALAINA says she’s always wanted to put her own spin on the holiday classic Oh Holy Night . . . so she did.

CAM posted a video on Instagram where she consults some Mystic Cards to see if she’ll be opening forGEORGE STRAIT in Vegas next year.  The card she pulls says, “You’re ready.”  Sounds like yes to me.
