Blake Shelton is Opening Restaurants

Blake Shelton, Dustin Lynch, Chris Janson, and Easton Corbin Went Hunting . . . And Blake’s Opening a Couple of Restaurants

Here’s an invitation I’d like to get in the mail.  Blake Shelton, Chris Janson, Dustin Lynch,Easton Corbin, and John Conlee went on the Grand Ole Opry’s annual hunting retreat.

It doesn’t get a lot of publicity, and maybe that’s the way they like it.  But Chris Janson convinced everyone to smile for a few photos that he posted online.  (Here’s one, and another . . . and one more.)

Blake Shelton Opening Restaurants in Nashville and Tishomingo

A couple of Blake Shelton-inspired restaurant (slash) music venues are opening in Nashville and his hometown of Tishomingo, Oklahoma.  They’re named after his song “Ol’ Red”, although they’re spelling it Ole Red.

The Oklahoma location is a small club and it’s supposed to open in the fall.  The Nashville one is huge.  It’ll feature a two-story bar, a restaurant, a dance floor, and private VIP booths.  That one’s about a year away from opening.

Cole Swindell (Feat. Dierks Bentley), ‘Flatliner’ [Listen]

Cole Swindell‘s “Flatliner” sounds like a Dierks Bentley song from five years ago, because that’s what it was meant to be. The pair team up for a rollicking, Bakersfield-inspired country sound that is timeless.

“Flatliner” is about a girl who’s (pardon the pun) drop-dead gorgeous, and the two country men embrace the frivolous nature of their lyric, playfully encouraging each other to go talk to her. It’s a country-rocker that’s a more honest look into what two decent guys might say to one another before one mans up enough to introduce himself.

Big & Rich Are Performing at the Great America Alliance Inaugural Gala

BIG & RICH and COWBOY TROY picked up a HUGE booking.  They’ll be performing at the Great America Alliance Inaugural Gala, which is going down in Washington D.C. the day before DONALD TRUMP’s inauguration.

It’s almost a no-brainer for JOHN RICH because he and the President-elect go way back.  He won the 2011 edition of “Celebrity Apprentice” . . . and even saw for himself that Trump’s hair is real.

John’s also been a big supporter of the Republican Party since, like, forever.  Here’s his statement about the event:

Quote, “We’re thrilled to be performing in our nation’s capital during this historic moment in time.  A presidential inauguration is a uniquely American event, so we’re honored to be a part of it and hope to help make it a memorable event.”

In case you missed it:  HUNTER HAYES performed a brand new song on yesterday’s “Good Morning America”.  It’s called “All For You”, and it’s in the movie “Monster Trucks”, which opens next week.  (Here’s the link.)
