Blake Shelton is Suing “In Touch Weekly” for Saying His Drinking and Womanizing Led to His Divorce
BLAKE SHELTON is suing “In Touch Weekly” because of a cover story from last month that said his out-of-control drinking, partying, and womanizing is what ended his marriage to MIRANDA LAMBERT.
The story also claimed he’d hit rock bottom and was heading to rehab. He filed a defamation lawsuit yesterday in L.A. asking for more than $1 million in damages, plus an injunction that would prevent the magazine from repeating the allegations.
Blake’s brushed off a thousand tabloid stories in the past, but this one got to him, and you can understand why because they pulled out all the stops. They claimed Miranda caught him with “a bunch of naked women” in their home.
That he drank vodka before noon and was slurring his words, that his friends were talking about an intervention, and were actually “terrified” he could end up dead. That he went to a bachelor party after his divorce and ended up in a hot tub with strippers.
The lawsuit states that he’s “had enough,” “has not hit rock bottom,” “is not in rehab and has no plans to go to rehab.” The suit also says Blake asked “In Touch” for a retraction but didn’t get a response. (Check out a pic of the cover, here.)

If You Invite Locash To Go Hunting, They May Say Yes
I wouldn’t be surprised to see one of those “I Rather Be Hunting” bumper stickers on theLOCASH tour bus. It kind of sounds like CHRIS LUCAS and PRESTON BRUST are addicted.
Chris says, quote, “We love turkey season. It’s our favorite. I know we’ve been wanting to go elk [hunting], especially Preston wants to get an elk, but unfortunately this year we’ve been so busy.”
They did find a brilliant way to combine that “busy” with some hunting pleasure. He adds, quote, “We get a lot of people on the road that ask us if we want to hunt with them . . . and sometimes we take ’em up on it.”

Her makeup artist and stylist are also in the clip promising to help get her get “glammed up” for the night. Well, good news, because Allie Tweeted her acceptance, writing, “Seriously crying my eyes out. I love you and I can’t wait.”
