Blake Shelton is Expecting to Hear Divorce Jokes at the CMAs
In case you missed this: BLAKE SHELTON was on “Late Night with Seth Meyers” on Tuesday . . . and he freely admitted he’s expecting to hear jokes about his divorce at next week’s CMAs.
He said, quote, “This year’s going to be awkward, speaking of jokes. [Country music] is such a family. Everybody there is friends, you know? There’s gotta be one about me and MIRANDA [LAMBERT].
“BRAD PAISLEY is not doing his job if he doesn’t look down there and go ‘Ha-ha!’ I mean he’s gotta do it. You have to address the elephant in the room.”
In fact, it sounds like he’s already cleared Brad to fire away. Quote, “We’ve had the conversations like, ‘Okay dude, I will go sit there and let you kick me in the face a few times. I know it’s coming.'”
