Blake Shelton Says He and Miranda Lambert Are “Buddies”

There’s no bitter divorce stuff to talk about between BLAKE SHELTON and MIRANDA LAMBERT.  In fact, Blake did a radio interview yesterday claiming they’re on really good terms.

He said, quote, “Our whole thing was, ‘You know, we’re just going to be cool about this.  It is what it is.  We’re buddies.'”

He was asked how they managed to keep the divorce such a secret.  He said, quote, “Because in Oklahoma, it happens so fast.  Miranda and I didn’t have any kids, and we had our prenuptial agreement.

“Once we filed for divorce, it was over in a nine- or 10-day waiting period.  Even if rumblings and rumors started coming out, they would just be that.  By the time anybody knew anything, it was over . . . it was done

Ashley Monroe Postpones Six Blade Tour Dates

Ashley Monroe has postponed half a dozen of her The Blade Tour dates in October and November.

The six affected shows were set to be held in Georgia, Indiana, Michigan, Ohio and Illinois; five were scheduled for early October, while one was scheduled for late November. A complete list of the six concerts is below.

Monroe writes on Facebook that the postponements are “due to unforeseen circumstances.”

“I am so sorry,” she adds, “and will post rescheduled dates as they appear.”

Monroe’s Facebook note reports that refunds for each of the shows are available at the point of purchase.

The singer’s The Blade Tour was scheduled to kick off on Oct. 1 in Macon, Ga.; it will now begin on Oct. 27 in New York City. The trek now includes seven dates in New York City; Washington, D.C.; Wilmington, Del.; Evanston, Ill.; Decatur, Ga.; and Nashville. A full list of shows, plus ticketing information, is available on Monroe’s website.

“I can’t wait to see your faces in the crowd!” Monroe said when the tour was announced. “So excited to play songs off of my new album each night.”

In addition to her own tour, Monroe is also joining her good friend Miranda Lambert on the road this fall, on Lambert’s 2015 Roadside Bars and Pink Guitars Tour, which will also feature RaeLynn, Courtney Cole and Clare Dunn.
