Ashley Campbell looks back at her life with her famous father Glen in the video for her debut single, “Remembering.”
The young singer made headlines earlier this year when she began performing a stripped-down rendition of the song, which describes the deep love for her dad, who is battling Alzheimer’s disease.
“I wanted to write something that expressed to my dad how much I wanted him to feel safe,” she recently told Rolling Stone Country. “I wanted to let him know that he didn’t have to worry, that I’ll take care of him when he can’t take care of himself.”
