At Least 35 Artists Will Be Performing at the “50th Annual CMA Awards”

There have been all kinds of promises about the “50th Annual CMA Awards” being memorable, and they’ve already delivered in one area for sure.  The amount of performers is beyond massive, maybe even bordering on chaos.

The newest round of performers includes Chris Stapleton, Jason Aldean, Thomas Rhett, Charlie Daniels,Dwight Yoakam, Ricky Skaggs, Roy Clark, Clint Black, Jennifer Nettles, Martina McBride, Randy Travis, plus Elle King and Pentatonix.

They join previously announced performers Alabama, Kelsea Ballerini, Dierks Bentley, Garth Brooks withTrisha Yearwood, Brooks and Dunn, Luke Bryan, Eric Church, Florida Georgia Line, Vince Gill, Alan Jackson . . .

Still with me?  Because the performers also include  Miranda Lambert, Little Big Town, Tim McGraw, Maren Morris, Kacey Musgraves, Brad Paisley, Charley Pride, Reba McEntire, George Strait, Carrie Underwood, and Keith Urban.

That’s 35 acts so don’t expect Brad Paisley and Carrie Underwood to do a long monologue.  But DO expect plenty of collaborations and medleys.  (CMA World)

FLORIDA GEORGIA LINE is extending their “Dig Your Roots” tour into next year.  They’ve added at least 28 new tour stops throughout North America.  DUSTIN LYNCH and CHRIS LANE are the openers.  Details are still being finalized, but you can grab updates at FloridaGeorgiaLine.com.

JASON ALDEAN’s 11th annual Concert for the Cure went down on Tuesday in Nashville.  The event brought the grand total of money raised for the fight against breast cancer to over $3.3 million.  (Full Story)
