And Then There Was the Time Kenny Chesney Forgot He Let Zac Brown Borrow His Jet
ZAC BROWN has a great KENNY CHESNEY story that happened a few years ago. He and his band were asked to do a special show, but they had no way to get there, so he reached out to Kenny, hoping to use his jet.
He explains, quote, “So I called Kenny in the middle of the night and he said ‘hold on a second, I just took an Ambien, I’m in my bunk.'” Kenny hung up, and then a few minutes later his pilot called and said okay.
Zac and his band flew to the show in style, and after it all went down he called to say thanks . . . but Kenny was clueless.
Zac says, quote, “I’m like ‘Dude, thank you so much. You just saved us a show for 16,000 people.’ He said, ‘What are you talking about?’ He had no idea that he sent it.”
