Blake Shelton and Gwen Stefani Have a Duet on His New Album
It’s official: BLAKE SHELTON’s upcoming album, “If I’m Honest”, features a duet with GWEN STEFANI. She “announced” it yesterday on social media by posting a photo of the album’s back cover, which shows the tracklist.
Her name is featured on a song called “Go Ahead And Break My Heart”. Here’s what she wrote, “Look what I found lying ’round the house.” She added the hashtags “#I-Spy-My-Name #Go-Ahead-And-Break-My-Heart.”
The album will be out May 20th. It includes his spiritual song “Savior’s Shadow” . . . his song “Friends” from the “Angry Birds” movie . . . plus “Doing It To Country Songs”, which features the OAK RIDGE BOYS.
And while we’re on the subject of Blake: As we expected, the judge has decided to allow his defamation suit against “In Touch Weekly” to proceed. (Hollywood Reporter)
BROOKS & DUNN will be given the NASH Icon Award at next month’s “American Country Countdown Awards”. REBA MCENTIRE won it last year and she’ll present it to them. The ACCAs are going down May 1st on Fox. (Full Story)
CARRIE UNDERWOOD had to postpone last night’s show in Houston, Texas because of the weather. She hit up Twitter to announce that it’s been rescheduled for next Monday, April 25th.
