Scotty McCreery Will Be Making a Few Appearances on “American Idol”
SCOTTY MCCREERY was asked for his thoughts on the final season of “American Idol”. No surprise . . . it’s all good. Quote, “Proud to be a part of it, proud of what the show did for a lot of folks.

Maren Morris is Feeling “Surreal” About Her Career
Things are happening pretty fast for MAREN MORRIS. KEITH URBAN picked her as one of openers on his RipCORDtour, along with BRETT ELDREDGE. And her debut single “My Church“ is starting to pick up steam. It’s all very new, and very rewarding.
Quote, “It’s very surreal to be in the driver’s seat now. I feel really blessed to be mentioned in conversation with other artists that I idolize and respect, and am inspired by. So it’s been a fun few months getting to be part of all this.”
Chris Janson is Not a “Boat-ey” Kind of Guy
“Buy Me a Boat”has definitely changed CHRIS JANSON’s life. It’s his first #1 record . . . and it’s putting butts in the seats at his shows. So here’s an odd twist: He’s not into boats.
Quote, “It’s interesting [that it’s] my first hit single, ’cause I’m not really like a boat-ey guy. I guess ’cause I really don’t have time to do it. I was working before I had this hit. I’m working even more now.
“Maybe someday when I retire I’ll have time . . . and just sit back and relax. ‘Cause I think it would be fun to have a nice pontoon.”
One more thing. They threw Chris a party to celebrate the song hitting #1. When it was his turn to talk, he reflected on the hard work that got him there. Quote, “Dreams come true, man. You just put the work in and it happens. It’s my 10th year in Nashville. And it’s an emotional day too. It’s all I’ve ever really wanted. This is the first #1 party I’ve ever been to.”
LUKE BRYAN has added five stadium shows to his “Kill the Lights” tour. They are: July 16th in Boston . . . August 19th in Minneapolis . . . August 27th in Chicago . . . October 22nd in Dallas . . . and October 29th in Detroit. You can check out all the dates at LukeBryan.com.
