Kimberly Schlapman Working at Cracker Barrel

Did Some People in Nashville “See” Blake and Miranda’s Divorce Coming?

The more we hear about the split-up of MIRANDA LAMBERT and BLAKE SHELTON, the more it seems like their marriage was shaky for a long time.

“People” magazine got JESSIE JAMES DECKER talking and she made it sound like almost everyone in Nashville knew they weren’t going to last.

She said, quote, “Everything that you’re seeing is what’s happening.  Maybe some people saw it coming, maybe some did not.  It was definitely sad because people love them together but maybe they’re better off going their separate ways.”

When she was asked straight up if she saw it coming she said, quote, “I don’t know.  I think some people did.  I think some people probably knew about some things for a long time.  But, you know, maybe not.”

(Check out video of the interview here.  I’m pretty suspicious by nature, so when she says people knew “some things,” my mind goes right to “The Cheatin’ Side of Life“.  How about you?)

Billy Currington Loves Surfing the Big Swells of Hawaii

BILLY CURRINGTON has surfed in Florida, South Carolina . . . and South Georgia where he grew up.  But his favorite place is Hawaii because of the big swells.

He says, quote, “That’s the best.  Big swells are a lot different than the short break waves that you catch on the east coast.  They’re harder to catch so I’m glad I learned on the east coast, but Hawaii’s definitely the most fun when it comes to surfing.”

Little Big Town’s Kimberly Schlapman Worked a Shift at Cracker Barrel

KIMBERLY SCHLAPMAN is turning into a country version of MARTHA STEWART.  There’s her GAC show“Simply Southern”, her “Oh Gussie!” cookbook . . . and now she’s selling a line of kitchen products exclusively at Cracker Barrel.

During LITTLE BIG TOWN’s recent tour stop in Boise, Idaho she stopped into a Cracker Barrel to get a look at her product line on the shelves, and while there she worked a shift.

HANK WILLIAMS JR. and ERIC CHURCH released the video to their cover of the Neil Young classic “Are You Ready for the Country”.

CHRIS YOUNG reflects on how he signed his first record deal before turning 21 . . . and then on his 30th birthday he turned in his fifth album to his record label.  That being his current album, “I’m Comin’ Over”.
