It takes a real man to admit the last face you see each night before going sleep is BRAD PITT. So, props to THOMAS RHETT for keeping it real.
He told “People”, quote, “My buddy Cameron, who is on the road with me, put a picture of Brad Pitt above my pillow because he’s my ‘manspiration,’ which is super embarrassing.
“I was trying to get ripped like Brad in ‘Fight Club’, which hasn’t happened yet.”
This was on his tour bus last year, and he got so much grief he finally caved. Quote, “I don’t have [the photo] anymore. I had to take it down. There was just too much embarrassment over it.”
Kenny Rogers is Retiring From the Road
KENNY ROGERS announced on Friday’s “Today Show” that he’s retiring from the road. He’s going to launch one last world tour, and then take a breather. He’ll still release new music and do shows here and there.
He said, quote, “I’m going to do a big worldwide tour and it’s going to be my last. I’ve done this long enough. I really want to be there with my kids and my wife. They are very important to me, and I don’t see enough of them.”
Eddie Montgomery’s Son Died of Injuries From An Undisclosed Accident
The 19-year-old son of EDDIE MONTGERY died yesterday from injuries he suffered in an accident. No word what happened but he was put on life support. His name was Hunter Montgomery and he’s one of four children from Eddie’s first marriage.
Eddie posted a message yesterday on the MONTGOMERY GENTRY Facebook page: “My son Hunter went to heaven today. I appreciate all your prayers and love and thank you for giving us privacy as we grieve and say goodbye.”
Chris Janson’s New Album Will Have a “Huge Duet” with Tim McGraw
CHRIS JANSON’s new album “Buy Me A Boat” will be out October 30th, and he’s over-the-top excited about one of the songs. It’s a duet with TIM MCGRAW called “Messin’ With Jesus”. Chris says, quote, “We have a huge duet on this record.
“It’s not a guest appearance or feature. It’s a duet . . . and we wrote the song together, which makes it even cooler.”

GEORGE STRAIT has been touring for some 30 years, which is impressive to everyone but him.
He recently said, quote, “There’s a lot of people that are road warriors. I mean, they just tour hard all the time. I did that for 30 years. I know WILLIE NELSON’s done it. He puts me to shame. He’s still doing it today . . . and more power to him.”
