Maddie & Tae Are Impressed with Dierks Bentley’s Torso and Kip Moore’s Guns
Remember a couple of weeks ago when DIERKS BENTLEY went shirtless at a show in Tampa? Well, even though MADDIE & TAE were one of the opening acts, they missed the whole thing.
They didn’t even know it happened until they saw the photo online. But it did get them thinking. TAE DYE says, quote, “He looks like he should be on ‘Magic Mike’. I decided that. He’s a new member.”
KIP MOORE is also part of the tour, and MADDIE MARLOW has been admiring something about him. She says, quote, “His arms are ridiculous. We have lunch with Kip a lot. We just happen to, like, eat at the same time.”
Jerrod Niemann Has No Problem Performing When the Temperature Tops 100
“Billboard” asked JERROD NIEMANN a pretty interesting question. They wanted to know how tough it is to perform at the summer festivals when the temperatures go into triple digits.
He said, quote, “Once you get on stage, it’s all about adrenaline and being in a zone. You don’t notice much . . . unless it’s so hot that sweat is dripping in your eye.
“Take ‘Drink to That All Night’: It has so many lyrics that it can be hard to keep your breath if it’s real hot.”
Still, it’s better than a day job. He adds, quote, “I used to work at two different ranches in Kansas where it might be 108 degrees with no wind, so it’s really nothing [by comparison.]”
JASON ALDEAN is recording new music. He posted an on-the-job photo and wrote, “Back in the studio for album #7. Can’t wait for you guys to hear what me and the boys are up to.”
TIM MCGRAW says people still cry every time he performs “Live Like You Were Dying”. (Delicious Audio)
BLAKE SHELTON had laser eye surgery yesterday. And to make sure everyone knew about it, he posted this wiseass comment the day before: Quote, “I’m getting LASIK surgery tomorrow. Why in god’s name would I wait until I’m almost dead to get this done? [B-word].”
MIRANDA LAMBERT finds it hard to pick which songs she releases as singles. She says, quote, “They’re all singles. They’re all my babies.”
