CLAY WALKER tells the “Modesto Bee”, quote, “I can’t stand to see outdated rock ‘n’ rollers coming in to play country music. That really [ticks] me off. We have great singers, great country musicians.
“There’s no reason we have to dilute it by letting people in the format that don’t have any business being in the format.”
WILL HOGE may have even coined a name for it when he Tweeted, “New genre, “Carpetbagger Country: When your career goes south, so do you. Y’all discuss.”

Brad Paisley Mixed His Song “Me And Jesus” While on Air Force One
It was last Memorial Day when PRESIDENT OBAMA asked BRAD PAISLEY to join him on an overseas trip to perform for our troops. One of Brad’s favorite stories about the tour was how he mixed his song “Me And Jesus” on Air Force One.
He says, quote, “I realized I was going to have hours of downtime. 13 hours over and 16 back, so one of the things I did on there was work on that track. It’s really wild to think that I mixed a song over the Black Sea on that airplane.”
JON PARDI is going on an African safari, but he won’t be killing anything endangered. He’ll be on a “preservation ranch” that features control hunting. He says because of ranches like that, there are more animals in South Africa than in the 1800s.
CHRIS YOUNG released a new song called “I’m Comin’ Over“.
CARRIE UNDERWOOD’s husband MIKE FISHER posted a photo of him and their son Isaiah, who’ll be three months old on May 27th. He captioned it, “Me and my little man. #Life Is Good.”
