There are plenty of bad holiday movies, but what are the WORST? Here’s a list somebody came up with. It’s not clear how much opinion went into the list, but they definitely took bad Netflix and Rotten Tomatoes ratings into account.
- The Tim Allen movie “Christmas with the Kranks” (2004)
- The Ben Affleck movie “Surviving Christmas” (2004)
- The Anna Kendrick movie “Happy Christmas” (2014)
- “Beauty and the Beast: The Enchanted Christmas” (1997)
- “The Dog Who Saved the Holidays” (2012) This was a made-for-TV movie starring Joey Lawrence . . . as the dog.
- “Tyler Perry’s A Madea Christmas” (2013)
- “Santa Claus Conquers the Martians” (1964)
- “The Perfect Holiday” (2007) This one featured Queen Latifah and Terrence Howard as angels who take an interest inGabrielle Union’s love life, or something like that.
- “Jack Frost”. This is the 1997 horror flick about a killer snowman, NOT the 1998 Michael Keaton family film.
- “The Santa Clause 3: The Escape Clause” (2006)
Some of these I’ve never even heard of, but I can say that I was not a fan of “Happy Christmas” when I caught it on Netflix last year. It was just a little slow and flat. Also, no list of bad Christmas movies is complete without talking about all the generic Hallmark Christmas movies. Ever now and again there’s a gem, but for the most part the are pretty forgetable. – Drake
