Justin Timberlake Releases ‘Drink You Away’ to Country Radio [LISTEN]
Is Justin Timberlake about to pull a reverse Taylor Swift? The former boy band member and pop superstar has released “Drink You Away,” which he performed with Chris Stapleton at the 2015 CMA Awards, as a single to country radio.
Coupled with Stapleton’s “Tennessee Whiskey,” “Drink You Away” brought the house down at the CMAs. The recorded version, off of Timberlake’s 2013 album, The 20/20 Experience — 2 of 2, is blues-y and groovy — still pop-leaning but not far off from some of what is getting played on country radio today.

For the first time in more than 10 years, Loretta Lynn has a new album on the horizon.
Full Circle, Lynn’s first studio album under a multi-album deal with Legacy Recordings, is set for release on March 4, 2016. The 14-track project was recorded at Cash Cabin Studio in Hendersonville, Tenn., and produced by Patsy Lynn Russell and John Carter Cash. It is Lynn’s first album of new recordings since 2004’s Van Lear Rose, her critically acclaimed collaboration with Jack White, and acts as Vol. 1 of the Cash Cabin Recordings, which will be a series of new projects created at Cash Cabin Studio.

On the same day as Full Circle‘s release, a new documentary about Lynn’s life and career, American Masters — Loretta Lynn: Still a Mountain Girl, will premiere on PBS.

Chris Stapleton and His Wife Pick Up The Slack for Each Other
I know you don’t need another reason to love CHRIS STAPLETON, but here’s one anyway. He’s a solid family man who loves his wife Morgane . . . and loves making music with her. And the feeling is mutual.
In case you didn’t know, she was the woman on stage with him singing backing vocals during his CMA performance of “Tennessee Whiskey“ with JUSTIN TIMBERLAKE.
They’ve been married eight years and have two kids together, but they also have a musical bond that seems to elevate their relationship. To give you an idea, listen to Chris talk about what happened at a recent concert when his voice was in bad shape.
Quote, “I couldn’t talk the day before the Ryman show, but she was over there pulling me up. And she does that every time, and vice versa. If she’s not feeling it, I can pick up the slack. That’s what we do for each other, onstage.”
These two are totally on the same page. She adds, quote, “[Music] is how we’re drawn to each other. That’s our foundation in a lot of ways. Maybe that’s what shows. I don’t want to make music without him.”
Brett Eldredge Gets a Lot of Offers From Women Who Want Him to Date Their Daughters
It’s good to be BRETT ELDREDGE . . . and I’m not talking about that Victoria’s Secret model he was dating. That’s history. No, this is about how women are willingly offering him their daughters . . . or granddaughters.
And like the trooper he is, he’s happy to oblige. Quote, “Some girls will introduce me to their mom, or their mom will be like, ‘I need you to meet my daughter, she’d be perfect for you.’ I’d love to meet their daughter, I mean, you never know.”
He’d love to, because he’s a free man and he wants you to know that. Quote, “I’m being single now just taking my time and trying to find the right thing. But it’s always interesting to see how people introduce.
“I’ll meet somebody’s grandma and she’ll be like, ‘You need to meet my granddaughter.’ It’s funny and I love meeting people like that.”
“Billboard” is honoring KELSEA BALLERINI as this year’s Rising Star at its “Women in Music” event in New York City. She’s also going to perform on the show, which airs December 18th on Lifetime. Other honorees include Lady Gaga as Woman of the Year, Lana Del Rey as Trailblazer, and Selena Gomez as this year’s Chart Topper.
FLORIDA GEORGIA LINE’S “Confession“ video opens with throwback clips of BRIAN KELLEY in his high school baseball days . . . and a young TYLER HUBBARD riding motocross.
“Billboard’s” 13 Country Artists to Watch includes quite a few names we’ve been watching for while . . . like Mickey Guyton, Cam, Brothers Osborne, RaeLynn, Chris Janson, Old Dominion, and Granger Smith.
