Thomas Rhett and His Wife Aren’t On the Same Page About How Many Kids to Have
I think it’s safe to say THOMAS RHETT and his wife Lauren have been getting’ busy, if you know what I mean. And if it’s up to her, they’re going to keep at it until he puts a baby in her belly. Or five.
She did a Periscope chat with her fans on Twitter, and somebody asked if they’re planning to start a family. She said, quote, “Yes, we’re gonna have kids. Hopefully sooner rather than later.”
She also wants to pop out AT LEAST five little Rhetts, but says Thomas doesn’t want that many. Dying to know who’ll win that battle. My money’s on Lauren.
In a different interview that sounds related, but isn’t, Thomas was asked if he has any plans to whisk his wife away for some alone time. He does, and it’s definitely going to be off the grid.
Quote, “In the fall we might try to escape to North Carolina in the mountains to get away. Honestly, anywhere [we] can go with no cell phone reception can be the best for me.”
Miranda Lambert Is on Vocal Rest and Canceling Shows
MIRANDA LAMBERT was put on vocal rest and had to cancel three shows on her Keeper of the Flame tour. All three are in Texas . . . and include Thursday’s show in Corpus Christi, Friday’s concert in Austin, and Saturday’s show in San Antonio.
Fans can get refunds if they go to their original point of purchase . . . so it sounds like she’s not planning to schedule makeup dates.
Cole Swindell’s Favorite Miss America Moment Happened Before the Show
There’s no doubt COLE SWINDELL enjoyed being a judge at Sunday’s Miss America contest . . . but I bet you’d be surprised to know the highlight of his night was a performance from someone who was NOT a contestant.
An adorable nine-year-old girl named Angelica Hale asked him on the red carpet if she could sing one of his songs to him. He agreed and she launched into “Middle Of A Memory”. It was so good he even joined her.
He also posted a clip on Facebook and wrote, “This girl right here is something special. Thanks for making my night.” Angelica wasn’t just hanging around . . . she sang the National Anthem before the competition started.
BLAKE SHELTON donated $600,000 to the Jimmy Everest Children’s Hospital at his show in Oklahoma City on Saturday. He also brought GWEN STEFANI out to perform “Go Ahead and Break My Heart”. You can check out photos of Blake, Gwen, and the giant check at People.com.
HUNTER HAYES celebrated his 25th birthday last Friday by gifting his fans with three new songs. They’re streaming right now on his Twitter page. Word is, they’re going to be on his next album, but we don’t know when that’ll be out.
Here are four words I never thought I’d say: “CHRIS STAPLETON as bacon.” A bacon artist . . . yes, that’s a real title . . . created a sculpture of Chris made entirely out of America’s favorite morning meat. He posed for a photo next to it and wrote, “I look delicious.” (Full Story)
