Justin Moore and Brantley Gilbert Recorded a Song Called “More Middle Fingers”

JUSTIN MOORE is almost finished with his next album, which he plans to release in September.  One of the tracks is a collaboration with BRANTLEY GILBERT, and it may end up as Justin’s next single.

He tells TasteOfCountry.com, quote, “I found a song called ‘More Middle Fingers’, and I thought, well, this is my opportunity to get Brantley to pay me back.”

The payback he’s talking about is Brantley’s song “Small Town Throwdown”.  Justin and THOMAS RHETT did guest vocals on it.

Anyway, back to the “More Middle Fingers” song.  The title makes it sound controversial, but Justin says it isn’t.  Quote, “It’s really not as brash as maybe it suggests.”

Check Out Some Great Performances From Tuesday’s “All for the Hall” Benefit

The sixth annual “All for the Hall” benefit went down in Nashville on Tuesday.  That’s the concert that raises funds for the Country Music Hall of Fame and Museum.  This year, several performers paid tribute to MERLE HAGGARD.

SAM HUNT told a story about being in a dark place early last week, so he retreated to a room and listened to some old country songs.  One was Merle’s “The Way I Am”, and the NEXT DAY he told his manager he wanted to play that song at the benefit.

A little over an hour later someone told him that Merle had just passed away.  He said, quote, “It sent chills up my spine.  It gave me this really eerie feeling.”  (Here’s video.  The Merle story starts at 0:13.  The song kicks in at 1:49.)

Another great tribute came from VINCE GILL and KEITH URBAN.  Vince called Merle his “greatest hero,” and after a few more words of love they launched into “The Bottle Let Me Down”.  (Check that out, here.  The song starts at 1:09.)

MAREN MORRIS went in a different direction, paying tribute to DOLLY PARTON with a slow, bluesy version of“9 to 5”.  (Here’s video.  And here’s a Twitter post before the show where she promised to wear her “Dolly-est jumpsuit.”)

KENNY ROGERS announced the first set of dates of his “Gambler’s Last Deal” farewell tour.  The U.S. leg kicks off May 13th in Mahnomen, Minnesota, and runs through October 8th in New Orleans.  Dates and details are atKennyRogers.com.

CARRIE UNDERWOOD did a little bragging on social media . . . and you would too if “People” magazine called you one of the “World’s Most Beautiful” people.  The issue hits newsstands April 22nd.

ALABAMA will kick off their “Southern Drawl” tour on May 12th in Nashville.  Hit up TheAlabamaBand.com for dates.

FLATT LONESOME recorded a bluegrass version of the “Game of Thrones“ theme song.
