Miranda Lambert Admits She Had a “Crappy” 2015
MIRANDA LAMBERT performed with some friends at a club in Nashville on Wednesday. It was a place called City Winery, so she told the crowd that the players got all excited when they found out they’d get to drink expensive wine.
Quote, “You know how it is some nights. You finish the good wine and then move to the box. You start expensive and when you run out of that, you go cheap. I’m not talking about husbands, I swear.”
She also performed a new song written by her longtime guitar player Scotty Wray. Quote, “We both had a really, really [crappy] year in 2015 and we have the tattoos to prove it.
“[He] wrote a song 16 years ago called ‘Scars’ . . . and I never felt like I could sing it ’til now. I was never damaged enough.
“It’s something you have to sell, and feel, and live, and go through [crap] to execute a song like that.” She also held up her forearm to show the tattoo, but it was too far away to see.
