The Guys in Florida Georgia Line Like to Pray Every Day
It was a couple of years ago when the guys in FLORIDA GEORGIA LINE bragged that they like getting stoned, and even called themselves “professional partiers.” Yeah, well, these days they’re doing a lot of praying.
CMT.com asked about their song “Confession” and TYLER HUBBARD said, quote, “I say ‘I’m sorry’ on a daily basis. Nobody’s perfect. I do it every day. I don’t go to real confession, but I pray every night.”
BRIAN KELLEY took it a step further, saying, quote, “I try to stay in a constant state of prayer. You’ve gotta be in the moment, but if you see something good, you gotta stop and pray. It’s easy to be thankful. And then that energy just oozes out of you.”
Blake Shelton’s New Spiritual Song Came To Him In a Dream
BLAKE SHELTON got some inspiration from above during a dark time in his life last year . . . so he got together with a couple of co-writers and they turned it into a song.
It’s called “Savior’s Shadow” and it’s on his upcoming album, “If I’m Honest”. He says, quote, “At a very dark time in my life last year I dreamed the first verse of this song. I woke up and immediately wrote it down.
“Now, looking back, I know it was God’s way of telling me that he’s here and things are gonna be okay.”
One more thing about Blake: A judge said yesterday that she’s inclined to allow his defamation suit against “In Touch Weekly” to proceed. She intends to issue a definite ruling in a few days.
