Jennifer Nettles, Martina McBride, and Cam Will Be Opening Sunday’s “American Country Countdown Awards”
I probably don’t have to tell you that Sunday’s “American Country Countdown Awards” is stacked with talent, but just in case. It’ll open strong with Martina McBride, Cam, and Jennifer Nettlesperforming “This One’s For The Girls”.
Other performers include Florida Georgia Line, Thomas Rhett, Carrie Underwood, Chris Janson, Luke Bryan, Kelsea Ballerini, Cole Swindell, and Sam Hunt.
MATTHEW MCCONAUGHEY will introduce TOBY KEITH’s tribute to Merle Haggard. There are some big name presenters, like Luke Wilson, Paula Abdul, “Brooklyn Nine-Nine’s” Terry Crews, and Cat Deeley from “So You Think You Can Dance”.
REBA MCENTIRE will be presenting BROOKS & DUNN with the NASH Icon Award. And expect to see a lot of Luke Bryan. He leads the pack with seven nominations. Sam Hunt has five. Check out all the nominees by hitting up TheACCAwards.com.
The show airs at 8:00 P.M. on Fox.
KEITH URBAN plays banjo and sings under a tree while very attractive people dance in his “Wasted Time“video.”
MARY CHAPIN CARPENTER’s new album “The Things That We Are Made Of” will be out May 6th . . . but you can check it out now because it’s streaming for free at NPR.org.
The JOSH ABBOTT BAND brought in CARLY PEARCE to help them with vocals on the song “Wasn’t That Drunk” . . . so it’s only fair they also asked her to be in the video.
