Alright, so the thing is the current rate for new subscribers is $9.99. If you are grandfathered in you’re probably one of the 17 million customers that pay $7.99.
That’s all about to change. Next month, you’ll be paying the new subscriber rate. According to a recent study, 80% of Netflix subscribers are unaware that their prices are about to increase. No joke, I’m one of them. Looks like Netflix may need to do a better job of getting the word out there so we’re not surprised.
On the bright side, we are getting a whole lot more for our buck with all the new Netflix original series that are popping up.
