LeAnn Rimes is Scared to Death About Releasing Her New Album

Seems like every artist gets tied-up in knots when they release new music.  It’s understandable.  They put it all out there and have no idea how people are going to react.  That’s especially true if the songs are vulnerable.

That’s what LEANN RIMES went for on her new album “Remnants”, which is out October 28th.  The songs deal with heartbreak, loss, and healing, which is relatable if it’s done right . . . but disastrous if it misses the mark.

She talked about it in a recent interview, saying that she hopes people will get a sense of healing from the album.  Quote, “I’m not attacking anything . . . it’s from a settled point of view.  And yes, it is vulnerable.  I’m scared to death.”

Craig Morgan’s “American Stories” Concert Tour Will Feature Members of the Military

CRAIG MORGAN is launching a concert tour with Mac Powell, who’s the singer in the Christian rock band Third Day.  Each of them will perform solo, and then take the stage together along with veterans and members of the military.

It’s called the “American Stories Tour” and it’ll hit six cities, starting October 29th in Peoria, Illinois.  Craig says, quote, “[We’ll] share the songs and stories that move us and inspire us as Americans.”  You can find out more atCraigMorgan.com.

MIRANDA LAMBERT posted a video on social media where she’s sitting in her Shasta trailer writing on a notepad or diary.  The camera slowly zooms in and we see that she’s writing down the title and release date of her new album.

It’s called “The Weight Of These Wings” and it’ll be out November 18th.

The seventh annual “CMT Artists of the Year” special is going down October 20th.  This year’s honorees include Carrie Underwood, Thomas Rhett, Chris Stapleton, Florida Georgia Line, Luke Bryan, and Kelsea Ballerini.  More awards, performers, and guests will be announced the closer we get to the show.  (CMT)
