There’s a “Hint of Sarcasm” in Blake Shelton’s “She’s Got A Way With Words”
BLAKE SHELTON may never admit that “She’s Got A Way With Words” is about MIRANDA LAMBERT. What he’d rather do is throw out hints for us to bat around.
He released a behind the scenes look at his “She’s Got A Way With Words” video, and at one point he says, “There’s just a hint of sarcasm in this one.” And yes, I know he didn’t write it, but he DID choose to record it. Would he have done that three years ago? I say no.
(Here’s the link. The “hint of sarcasm” remark comes at 1:03. You can check out the full video on his Twitter page.)
Speaking of Blake. He’s all over NBC’s new intro to their NASCAR coverage. He sings a revised version of“Bringing Back the Sunshine”, and he hangs with drivers like Clint Bowyer, Aric Almirola, A.J. Allmendinger, and Martin Truex Jr.
It’ll air this Saturday during the Coke Zero 400 at Daytona International Speedway.
Keith Urban FaceTimed with Nicole Kidman From the Stage on Their 10-Year Anniversary
KEITH URBAN and NICOLE KIDMAN had it all set up to celebrate their 10th anniversary together on Saturday in Boston. He had a show there and she was going to fly in and meet him.
Unfortunately, she got stuck in Australia filming the Sundance miniseries “Top of The Lake”. So, he did the next best thing and FaceTimed with her . . . from the stage. He actually stopped the show to tell the audience how the plan went wrong.
He also showed photos on the big screen. One was taken the day they met. Another was that same day and it included OLIVIA NEWTON-JOHN. There were wedding pics, a shot of their two daughters, and a family pic.
He also held up his phone to FaceTime with her.
(Here’s video of him explaining it to the audience. He starts showing the photos at 2:09.)
Florida Georgia Line is Collaborating with the Backstreet Boys
Remember when FLORIDA GEORGIA LINE professed their love for the BACKSTREET BOYS? Well, they were just whetting our appetites. They got together to record music for FGL’s next album, which is out August 26th.
Backstreet’s NICK CARTER hit up social media yesterday and wrote, “In the studio with my @BackstreetBoys recording a song for @FloridaGeorgiaLine’s new album.”
Another Backstreet member, HOWIE D, posted this yesterday, “In the studio again with my boys. Do I hear a Backstreet Boys / Florida Georgia Line duet?”
One of the guys who robbed SCOTTY MCCREERY and his friends at gunpoint a couple of years ago pled guilty in court yesterday. He also refused to give up the names of his accomplices. He’s scheduled to be sentenced today. (Full Story)
