Dolly Parton and Katy Perry Will Be Sharing the Stage at the ACMs
Do you need two more reasons to watch next month’s ACMs? How about DOLLY PARTON and KATY PERRY on the same stage . . . at the same time? It might be epic.
Dolly announced yesterday that Katy will be presenting her with the Tex Ritter Award for her TV movie “Coat of Many Colors”. It’s given to a movie from the previous year that receives major exposure while showcasing country music.
Katy’s also going to stick around and sing with Dolly. It’ll be the first time they’ve ever performed together.
Here’s what Dolly said about it, quote, “Miss Katy Perry and I are gonna do some special things. She’s gonna present the award and we’re gonna sing some things together. We’re excited about that.”
Little Big Town and Justin Timberlake Are Writing Music Together
I’m going to predict LITTLE BIG TOWN will have another huge year. And when you hear why, you’ll totally agree. They’ve been in the studio writing songs with JUSTIN TIMBERLAKE. And, he’s giving them huge props.
Justin posted a photo on Instagram of him with KAREN FAIRCHILD and KIMBERLY SCHLAPMAN. He captioned it, “Just writing with @Little Big Town. This band is the truth. So good.”
The band is also smart, because they wasted no time reposting it. They wrote, “Just some good ol’ Tennessee folk hanging.” It’s not clear who’ll be recording the music, but really, it’s all gravy for Little Big Town on this one.

JOSH KELLEY released the video for his new song, “It’s Your Move“. It’s directed by his wife, actressKATHERINE HEIGL. She’s also his costar, and she didn’t have to reach very far to get into character, because it’s about a turbulent time in their marriage.
He says, quote, “It was one of those fights where you have to decide whether you’re going to remain in this story or not. Luckily, we love each other, we’re best friends, and we came out of it on top. It’s a very vulnerable song. It’s very honest.”
“It’s Your Move” is the first single from his upcoming album “New Lane Road”, which is out April 22nd.
