The Judds Are Doing a Nine-Show Residency at the Venetian in Vegas
THE JUDDS have announced a nine-show residency at the Venetian in Las Vegas. It’s been almost five years since NAOMI and her daughter WYNONNA have performed together, so it’s a pretty big deal.
The show is called “Girls Night Out”, which is a tribute to their 1985 hit of the same name. It’ll start October 7th and wrap October 24th.
Wynonna says, quote, “It’s a look back, a look present and a look forward. We’re going to talk a lot about our story. We have a great sense of humor and the show’s about laughter and celebration as well as music.”
Naomi adds, quote, “This show is for the fans that I have missed every single day since leaving the stage. It will be the thrill of my life to join Wynonna on stage again in Las Vegas.” Get the details at Wynonna.com.
Did Blake Shelton Write a Song About the Breakup of His Marriage?
This is so unusual I felt the need to talk about it. BLAKE SHELTON Tweeted something last week that was not about drinking or swearing. He said, “Wrote a song so important to me I can’t believe it.”
I’ll take Blake at his word and hope that he actually poured some heartbreak into a song. And if that’s so, then it has to be about his breakup with MIRANDA LAMBERT, right? Is there anything more important in his life right now than that?
Kelsea Ballerini Says Being Naive Actually Helped Her Career
Artists are always yapping about how they worked their asses off to get their big break in Nashville. But not KELSEA BALLERINI. She told “Rolling Stone” that she made it by being kind of clueless.
Quote, “I’ve never been scared, but I’m very naive. The greatest gift I’ve been given is being naive, because I don’t know what I can’t do. And when you don’t know what you can’t do, you think you can do everything.”
THOMAS RHETT was asked if he ever had a “Crash and Burn” experience, like in his song. He did. It was with his wife when they dated in high school. Quote, “She broke up with me seven times . . . but I was one of those guys who kept going back and kept going back and not getting the hint.” (Delicious Audio)
JON PARDI announced the details of his All Time High Tour, which will get started October 8th in San Diego, California. BROTHERS OSBORNE will open the shows. Grab the dates at JonPardi.com.
