Kenny Chesney’s Dad Was Arrested for Hitting a Neighbor with a Golf Club . . . and Then Punching Him in the Face and Stomping on his Sunglasses
KENNY CHESNEY’s dad has some serious anger issues. Dave Chesney, who’s 72 years old, was arrested yesterday for assaulting his 32-year-old neighbor, a man named Jonathan Matthew Jones.
Jones is the president of the local homeowners’ association and he kept asking Kenny’s dad to keep his dog on a leash so it wouldn’t wander around the grounds of their condominium complex.
Apparently, he asked one time too many because Dave came after him with a golf club. He took nine swings, landing six of them. He also punched him a few times in the face, knocked off his sunglasses and stomped them into the ground.
He was arrested and charged with aggravated assault and vandalism. This all went down in Tazewell, Tennessee, which is about 48 miles northeast of Knoxville. There’s no statement from Kenny.
The Cover of Kip Moore’s New Album Was Inspired by Mel Gibson’s “Braveheart”
KIP MOORE found an interesting inspiration for the cover of his album “Wild Ones“, which is out Friday. It features a photo of him triumphantly raising his hand, and it’s highlighted with colors of yellow, red, and blue.
He says, quote, “The colors kind of represent war to me. [The] fight, the blood. I was kinda thinking of [MEL GIBSON’s] William Wallace in “Braveheart”. Just that fight to get what he wanted.”
REESE WITHERSPOON posted some love for SAM HUNT on Instagram. She wrote, “Getting my morning started with @SamHuntMusic. Can’t stop listening to the whole album. #SongOfSummer ‘Raised On It’.”
REBA MCENTIRE will be in the animated movie, “Land Before Time: Journey to the Brave”. She wrote on Facebook, quote, “I just finished recording the voice of Etta, a new character in the ‘Land Before Time’ movies.” It’ll be out early next year.
KACEY MUSGRAVES posted a photo on Instagram of her wearing a light purple wig. Well, I guess it could be a dye job, but I doubt it.
Police recovered a $2,000 custom guitar that two teenagers stole from RASCAL FLATTS during their show last Friday in Brownsville, Oregon. The band didn’t press charges because the guitar was returned unharmed. (Full Story)
