Miranda Lambert Canceled Tonight’s Show Due to “Vocal Issues”
MIRANDA LAMBERT had to cancel tonight’s show at the Calgary Stampede in Canada due to a serious inflammation of her vocal cords.
She posted the following statement on her website . . . “I can’t believe this is happening. I’m sure most of you heard the news about the show in Calgary having to be rescheduled due to my vocal issues.
“Thanks for all your posts and well wishes, I promise I will do everything to get better quickly.”
She also apologized to any fans who have tickets to tonight’s show. Quote, “I am so sorry that I can’t be at Stampede this week, but I’ll be back in Calgary just as soon as I can for all of my Stampede fans.”
It’s unclear when she might be able to perform again.
Don’t Expect the Zac Brown Band to Play All Their Hits in Concert
The ZAC BROWN BAND is known for their kickass live show, and that’s no accident. They work very hard to make that happen. Guitarist CLAY COOK says, quote, “The live show has kept us in the forefront of peoples’ minds.
“I think that’s what separates us. We’re real guys. We’re not trying to do things for an image. We’re musicians through and through. Almost everything we do is because we want to make music better.”
But that also means there’s no guarantee they’ll cover all their hits. He adds, quote, “We could do a greatest hits show.
“I think some of the people want to see that, but I think the reason people like us is [because] we stretch out and do non-conventional things. We’re musicians. We’re not a jukebox up there on stage.”
Tyler Hubbard Wore a “Man Bun” at His Wedding
People.com has a slick-looking video of TYLER HUBBARD’s wedding. As you may recall, it was held last week in the beautiful mountains of Sun Valley, Idaho, which is where his bride Hayley Stommel grew up skiing.
She looks gorgeous and happy, and so much in love she doesn’t mind the “man bun” he’s wearing while they exchange vows. The song in the video is an unreleased track by BRETT ELDREDGE called “Drunk On Your Love”.
Brett was at the wedding, and so were Thomas Rhett, Canaan Smith, Charles Kelley of Lady Antebellum, and, obviously, Tyler’s Florida Georgia Line bandmate BRIAN KELLEY.
Dustin Lynch Expects to Be a Headliner 10 Years From Now
DUSTIN LYNCH is planning to be around for a while. Well, at least for the next decade. He says, quote, “I want to be a headlining act in 10 years . . . and I still want to be excited to write songs and make music and perform.
“In 10 years I’ll be a lot wiser, I know that. Seems like every year I get a lot better at doing this.”
Here’s why I’d like to be KACEY MUSGRAVES’ roommate. Yesterday she Tweeted, “Freedom is waking up at noon, making yourself waffles, and eating them like a rabid monster. Without pants.”
Sounds like a good time to us…
Speaking of Kacey: She released a behind-the-scenes video of the writing and recording of her song “Die Fun”, which is on her “Pageant Material” album.
DIERKS BENTLEY released the official video to his song “Riser“. It’s actually his emotional performance of it from the ACMs earlier this year.
