Chris Janson Has Played the Grand Ole Opry Over 100 Times
It may seem like CHRIS JANSON came out of nowhere with his song “Buy Me A Boat”, but he’s been working in Music City for close to 10 years.
We’re not talking low-level stuff either . . . he’s played the Grand Ole Opry over 100 times. And he never takes that honor for granted.
He tells the “Hartford Courant”, quote, “All I wanted was to play the Grand Ole Opry my whole life, so every time I get to do it, I’m reaching a pinnacle goal in my life and career.”
And you can’t beat that kind of exposure. He adds, quote, “It’s definitely attributed to putting a platform of fans in front of me at the same time, from all different places around the globe. And it’s pretty cool because it’s like a tour in one room.”
Chris is also a solid songwriter. He co-wrote TIM MCGRAW’s “Truck Yeah”, and JUSTIN MOORE’s “Off the Beaten Path”. He’s had other songs recorded by Randy Houser, Frankie Ballard, Joe Nichols, and Tyler Farr.
KACEY MUSGRAVES posted a clip of her waving sparklers and dancing in a “Star-Spangled” hot pants outfit at WILLIE NELSON’s 4th of July Picnic concert.
