You may have heard about the bowling game that went down on Super Bowl weekend. That’s when TYLER HUBBARD of FLORIDA GEORGIA LINE won $500 from Dierks Bentley, Nelly, Kevin Hart . . . and his FGL bandmate Brian Kelley.
Well, Tyler revealed the second part of the story, and this time he was the loser. It happened when they all went to a club that same night to watch Hart do standup.
He says, quote, “I got hustled. I got distracted by these dudes in the bathroom. This guy had a flat board with three caps and a piece of paper under one of them. Everybody’s betting on where the piece of paper was.
“I had these hundreds in my pocket from bowling, and was like ‘This looks like fun. I could easily win this game.’ Next thing you know, that guy took me for . . . I’m getting nauseous just talking about it . . . I think he might have took me for $700 or $800 in the bathroom.”
He adds, quote, “It’s so embarrassing. It ruined my night, to be honest, it was a tough night for me. After that, I decided no more gambling for this guy.”
LEE ANN WOMACK has an interesting take on the difference between old school drinking songs and the ones you hear today.
She says, quote, “When GEORGE JONES sang about drinking, you got the feeling that he was sorry about it. To me, that’s a real drinking song. There’s an art to Jones or [JOHNNY] PAYCHECK or whomever, there’s a feeling of remorse.
“Now it feels like it’s always party time. [It’s] funny to see people approaching middle age singing juvenile stuff.”
She also has advice for young female artists. Quote, “Every time I went with my gut, I was never sorry. I did some things that were commercial successes, but the stuff I did from the gut, I loved and never regretted.
“Go with your gut and don’t give up. I’ve known so many young female artists that get discouraged. But when a female artist like MIRANDA [LAMBERT] or TAYLOR [SWIFT] makes it, they hit it out of the park.”
You won’t see any members of the ZAC BROWN BAND in their “Loving You Easy“ video. But that’s okay because you will see actress HALSTON SAGE getting out of bed, making tea, lounging in a hammock, and swimming in the ocean.
KENNY CHESNEY put on some sweats and worked out with several Pittsburgh Steelers players on Friday. That was the night before his huge concert at Heinz Field. Check out photos at Steelers.com.

Here we go again: The latest middle-aged rocker trying to make a country record is JONATHAN DAVIS, from the metal band KORN. He captioned an Instagram photo, quote, “Working with BIG & RICH on a country music project.”
