Carrie Underwood Won Three Buckles at Last Night’s “CMT Music Awards”
CARRIE UNDERWOOD dominated last night’s “CMT Music Awards”. “Something In The Water” won Video of the Year and Best Female Video. And she shared Collaborative Video of the Year with MIRANDA LAMBERT for “Somethin’ Bad”.
She was even all over the opening monologue when cohosts ERIN ANDREWS and BRITTANY SNOW did a running gag about Erin’s obsession with her. She also killed it on the red carpet some three months after having a baby.
Randy Rogers’ Newborn Daughter Has Passed Away
It doesn’t get any sadder than this. RANDY ROGERS’ newborn daughter Rumer Rain passed away on Tuesday, just six days after she was born. According to a post on his Facebook page, she “died of natural causes, in her parents loving arms.”
Anyone wishing to offer condolences can make a donation to the children’s charity of their choosing. Because of the tragedy, the RANDY ROGERS BAND is canceling tomorrow night’s show in Roscoe, Texas.
Brett Eldredge and Thomas Rhett are Co-Headlining This Year’s “CMT On Tour”
THOMAS RHETT and BRETT ELDREDGE will be co-headlining this year’s “CMT on Tour”. It’s called the “Boots and Suits Tour”, and to get you excited they recorded a video of them “battling” over who should get top billing.
Regardless of who closes each show, one thing we do know is that DANIELLE BRADBERY will be the opener. Dates will be announced soon.
BLAKE SHELTON’s “Forever Young“ video has been released. That’s the song featured in the movie “Max” . . . and the video is basically a trailer for the film. “Max” opens June 26th.
KACEY MUSGRAVES calls her “Biscuits“ video “just plum country fun”. Enjoy!
BRAD PAISLEY isn’t the only country artist who gets to open for the ROLLING STONES on their Zip Code tour. RASCAL FLATTS will have the honor when it stops in Indianapolis on July 4th. Details are at RascalFlatts.com.
