Happy Birthday to The Red Headed Stranger Willie Nelson! He is 82 today.
Tim McGraw’s Secret to Fitness Includes Playing Basketball with Faith Hill and Eating Cheeseburgers
I always thought the secret to TIM MCGRAW’s sculpted body was pushing that stupid tractor tirearound. It is, but it’s also about balance, which is why he plays hoops with his wife FAITH HILL, and treats himself to a burger once in a while.
Those are some of the “Healthy Habits” he shared with Yahoo.com.
Let’s start with the red meat. He said, quote, “I’m sorry, I have to have a cheeseburger. The thing is, though, you do it occasionally, and we really enjoy turkey burgers. That’s become a big part of our routine instead. But, every now and then . . .”
The basketball thing with Faith is interesting. They play one-on-one, which can be pretty competitive, so he was asked who usually wins. Every married man knows how he answered that.
Quote: “Of course she wins. Of course. Come on! I’m not stupid.”
He also tries to break a sweat every single day, and it’s usually some kind of cardio. He says, quote, “I do other stuff, but if I ever get behind, a run is what I go to.”
RaeLynn Wants to Be a “Polarizing” Artist
RAELYNN says the best career guidance she ever got was from her mentors, BLAKE SHELTON and MIRANDA LAMBERT.
She explains, quote, “The best advice [they] gave me was to never be a lukewarm artist. Always be polarizing, and always be myself.” She took that to heart and is making sure she never blends in with the crowd.
She adds, quote, “I want to be that artist that [people] are like, ‘That’s RaeLynn.’ They either love me or they hate me. I think that’s a really good trait to have as an artist.”
Blake Shelton’s Concert Fans Get Mad if He Doesn’t Play “Austin”
Even though BLAKE SHELTON’s had tons of hits, he has to play “Austin” at every concert or his fans will say bad things about him on social media.
He explains, quote, “If I don’t play it, I’ll get on Twitter and people are like, ‘I’m never going back to see him again. The only reason I came was to see ‘Austin’.'”
That could be annoying, but Blake’s learned to roll with it. He adds, quote, “I love that. I’m still so proud of that record.”
KELLY CLARKSON was blown away by MEGHAN LINSEY’s performance of The Beatles’ “Something” on Monday’s “Voice”. She Tweeted, “Hey, @Meghan Linsey, you’re better than most singers I’ve ever heard. Wow. Just wow. Not only can you wail but you can be intense and powerful.”
A record company suit has confirmed that rapper NELLY is recording a country EP titled “Heartland”. No word yet when it’ll be out. (Billboard) Nelly’s no stranger to country. Tim McGraw performed on his song “Over and Over” . . . and Florida Georgia Line brought him in for their remix of “Cruise”.
BILLY CURRINGTON announced the release date and track listing of his new album. It’s called “Summer Forever”, and it’ll be out June 2nd. (Taste of Country)
