The Only Baby on Kimberly Perry’s Mind is Her New Album
KIMBERLY PERRY and baseball player J.P. ARENCIBIA will celebrate one year of wedded bliss on June 12th, and boy have they been keeping it busy . . . at work.
They’re so focused on getting stuff done they don’t have time for a baby.
She says, quote, “All of us want family at some point, although I’m so goal oriented and J.P. is so goal oriented as well, so it’s almost like the baby that we’re thinking about right now is this third [album] we’re trying to bring into the world.”
She’s talking about the third BAND PERRY album, and she’s pretty sure it’s going to be a game changer. Quote, “This really feels like the next really important moment for us and we’re just all guns a blazin’ towards it.”
The first single is supposed to come out in a few weeks. There’s no word yet on a release date for the album.
Reba McEntire Was “Scared to Death” of Meeting Lady Gaga
REBA MCENTIRE seems to get along with just about everyone . . . but there was a time when she wanted no part of LADY GAGA. She explains, quote, “I got to meet [her] at the ‘American Music Awards’ one year.
“She came over to me and said hello. I was scared to death of her. I thought she was, you know, this mean woman that gets up and sings, real tough.”
Things totally changed when they started talking. Quote, “She came over with the nicest, sweetest voice and said, ‘Hi, Reba. Just wanted to come say hi to you.'”
Eric Paslay Got Married on Sunday
ERIC PASLAY married his fiancée Natalie Harker on Sunday in Charlotte, Tennessee. They’re both 32.
For those who care about such things: He wore a custom-made black suit . . . and she walked down the aisle in a Vera Wang dress. They chose Italy as their honeymoon destination.
RollingStone.com has a terrific slide show of pics from last weekend’s Stagecoach Country Music Festival. You’ll be at full salute when you check out KACEY MUSGRAVES at #1. KIP MOORE showed off his guns twice: Once at #6, and again at #24 with STURGILL SIMPSON. Also, don’t miss NIKKI LANE’s legs at #15.
It’s easy to pronounce LUKE BRYAN’s name . . . unless you’re literally just learning how to talk. There’s an adorable video on Twitter of a little girl trying very hard to say that she loves Luke.
HILLARY SCOTT of LADY ANTEBELLUM has one bucket list item that’s totally doable. In fact, I’m surprised it hasn’t happened yet. She says, quote, “To be a member of the Grand Ole Opry, I would absolutely love that. It would be a bucket list item for sure.” (CMT)
CHASE BRYANT’s favorite Texas food is called The Chase Bryant Plate at a restaurant in his hometown. It’s three cheese enchiladas, carne asada, guacamole, rice, beans, and two flower tortillas.
