Frankie Ballard Wants to see Rock Stars Mowing the Lawn in Leather Pants
Leather pants look good on about 1% of humans. You have to be young, fit, and way hot. Or, a rock star.
I bring it up because FRANKIE BALLARD really believes performers should dress the part and look like stars . . . all the time. He says, quote, “As a fan of music, I want my rock stars mowing the lawn in leather pants.
“That’s the way you want to see them as a fan. That’s part of the show business. That’s part of entertainment. I think that show business is still show business.”
Even though Frankie has strong feelings about how a performer should look . . . he still thinks they should stay connected. And he “walks the walk” on that one.
He says, quote, “I still go to shows and I pay for parking and buy the $8 beers and do all that stuff. And I do it, not only because I love music, but because I want to know what my fans go through.”
KEITH URBAN posted an Instagram video of him kissing a schoolteacher during a show at Jazz Fest in New Orleans. But it was all for the students. She promised them a pizza party if Keith came through.
TRACE ADKINS is heading to the Middle East and Europe for his 10th USO Tour. He says, quote, “No matter how many times I go out, or which countries and bases I visit, it never gets old.” (The Boot)

Eric Paslay Marries Natalie Harker
People Magazine reported that Sunday night Eric Paslay’s, 32, married music publisher Natalie Harker on Sunday at Front Porch Farms in Charlotte, Tennessee in front of 200 guests.
Harker, 32, wore a champagne Vera Wang dress for the occasion, adorned with bow details and a long train.
“I thought it was so classic, it seemed right,” she tells PEOPLE. “This was one of the only dresses I saw that had that old-world elegance to it. I think it’s just really, really beautiful.”
The couple got engaged in December 2014 after dating each other for two years and being friends for seven.
