They Lit a Huge Bonfire at Tyler Hubbard’s Bachelor Party

BRIAN KELLEY of FLORIDA GEORGIA LINE was not exaggerating when he said TYLER HUBBARD’s bachelor party would have dirt bikes, whiskey, cigars, and a lot of fires.  If anything, he was way underselling it.

It went down last weekend in Nashville, and Tyler posted a picture on his Instagram of all the guys standing around a huge bonfire.  He also included an exhausting rundown of the action.

He wrote, “Bachelor weekend = dirt bikes, pool, darts, mud, guns, smoke, fire, fish, ranger, Teryx, Sneakey, dogs, golf, chickens, trikes, RC cars, whiskey, tequila, chefs, barbor, omelets, Zaxby’s, s’mores, music, basketball, bunks, wrecks, bruises, paintball, prayers, and . . . beer.”

CMT caught up with them at the Grand Ole Opry on Tuesday.  Brian said the paintball was “intense” and that it was “a hell of a day.”  Tyler wouldn’t give up the wedding date, but confirmed it’ll be this summer.  He added, quote, “It’s coming up soon.”

Eric Church is Launching His Own Furniture Line

ERIC CHURCH is launching his own furniture line called Highway to Home.  It’s a business that he knows a lot about.  He says, quote, “Highway to Home is a natural extension of my family heritage.

“My dad was in the industry.  My first job was in a furniture plant, so yes, it’s in my blood.  Staying connected with my roots has always been important to me . . . my history and connection runs deep in this business.”

He’s also keeping it real.  A portion of the proceeds will be donated to the Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation.  The line will officially launch in October.

Speaking of Eric:  You may have heard how old-school he is when it comes to albums.  He believes they should be listened to in their entirety.  He says, quote, “It’s an album.  It’s start to finish.  Shuffle is going to aggravate me . . . because it’s not right.  It needs to be listened to as an album.”

CHRIS YOUNG did a stripped-down version of “Lonely Eyes” during an episode of ACM Sessions.

BRETT ELDREDGE needed help getting the wrinkles out of his T-shirt, so he had someone spray wrinkle remover-type stuff on it . . . and then he danced.  He posted a video on Instagram and wrote, “This is what I like to call the ‘de-wrinkle spray dance’.”

LUKE BRYAN had a successful day in the studio on Tuesday.  I know this because he Tweeted, “Good day in the studio.  Y’all get ready.”

BRITTANY KERR posted a video slide show of pictures from her and JASON ALDEAN’S wedding in Mexico last month.

Thomas Rhett said he would love to win ACM’s New Artist of the Year on Sunday . . . but he’ll be okay if he doesn’t.  (He said Sam Hunt and Cole Swindell also deserve to win, too.)
