Gary Allan Has to “Sweat Out” a Hangover, Or It Won’t Go Away

GARY ALLAN’s new song is called “Hangover Tonight”, so naturally, he was asked if he knows of a good cure.  He does, although I’m not sure there’s much science behind it.

He said, quote, “I have to run. I have to wake up and sweat it out, otherwise it doesn’t go away.  If I’m out on the road and it really has to go away, I gotta get out and exercise and run that stuff off.”

“Hangover’s” the first single off his new album, which is due out later this year.  It was delayed a little because he didn’t like the early version, so he went back into the studio.  He says, quote, “I just didn’t feel like we pushed ourselves enough.

“I’m always trying to get myself out of my box.  I feel the same way about this music that I did when [my album]‘Smoke Rings in the Dark’ came out.  I felt like that was so out there at the time.  But you make it you.

“So this is me pushing myself out of my skin a little bit . . . and you see which ones you like and rope ’em in.”

Hunter Hayes Believes Musical Instruments Are a Dream Gift to a Child

HUNTER HAYES has been a Celebrity Ambassador for VH1’s Save the Music foundation.  One of their projects is giving free musical instruments to schoolchildren.  It’s a cause that hits close to home for him.

He explains, quote, “Most of my guitars growing up were gifts.  I didn’t buy a guitar until I moved to Nashville.  So if there’s anybody who knows the appreciation of a good instrument as a gift . . . it’s one of the most magical things in the world.

“And it’s encouraging, it’s exciting, it’s invigorating.  The gift of music is more than just a gift of a song and an instrument, it’s the gift of a dream and it’s the gift of a lifelong passion.

“And I’m really fortunate that I get to live my dream because somebody believed in me and here we are, we have somebody that believes in young musicians and it’s beautiful.”

LUKE BRYAN’S hot wife Caroline posted a vine on Twitter of them at his spring break show on Thursday.  But the real reason you want to see it is because Luke’s mom LeClaire jumps into the act and shakes her sweet little backside too.

SAM HUNT rescues a woman from an abusive a-hole in the video to his song “Take Your Time“.

Last week TAYLOR SWIFT Tweeted “Driving around with the @KELSEA BALLERINI EP on repeat.  #‘Yeah Boy‘, #‘Love Me Like You Mean It‘.”  72 hours later the EP had climbed 25 spots on the iTunes Country Albums Chart, and “Love Me Like You Mean It” moved up six places on the iTunes Country Songs Chart.  (Washington Post)

REBA MCENTIRE may be turning 60 on March 28th, but she’s looking better than ever in her “Going Out Like That” video.  (Check it out here.  And while you’re at it, scroll down a little further for an awesome throwback pic of her in Jr. High.)
