Randy Houser is Inspired by Glen Campbell’s “I’m Not Gonna Miss You”

Billy Currington Doesn’t Feel Compelled to Record “Beer and Truck Songs”
BILLY CURRINGTON doesn’t live in Nashville, which in his case is good . . . because it helps him stay away from whatever trends are seeping into everyone else’s music.
He says, quote, “I never feel the disconnect and the feeling of ‘I have to do something like everybody else is doing.’ Like there seems to be a lot of beer and truck songs lately and I just don’t feel compelled to be on that train.
“I feel, just keep doing what I’m doing and it’ll work when it works, and don’t when it don’t.”
KEITH URBAN posted a video on Twitter of him and NICOLE KIDMAN “having a blast” backstage at the Oscars. Their blast consists of them sitting on a couch, TWO quick looks at JASON BATEMAN enjoying a snack . . . and a long distance shot of BEN AFFLECK have a conversation with someone.
THE BAND PERRY got invited to a very exclusive Oscar party. They Tweeted a pic of the three of them in action, and wrote, “Hi from the wonderful @ELTON JOHN DotCom Oscar 2015 viewing party.”
WILLIE NELSON and ALISON KRAUSS are co-headlining a string of dates this summer. They’ll pick it up on June 17th in Missoula, Montana . . . and carry it through to July 23rd in Berkeley, California. Details are atWillieNelson.com.
