“Country Weekly” collected a bunch of country stars’ New Year’s resolutions. Some are reachable . . . like RODNEY ATKINS, who plans to, quote, “Catch more fish.”
And then there’s THOMAS RHETT, who set the bar way high. He hired a personal trainer for his tour withFLORIDA GEORGIA LINE . . . and he’s expecting a lot. He said, quote, “My plan is to look like ZAC EFRON with my shirt off.”
HUNTER HAYES is also planning to get fit, although he’s more practical. He said, quote, “I want to get in better shape. I love running around the stage . . . but I’m out of breath too much. I need to get my lung capacity up a bit.”
66-year-old JOE BONSALL of THE OAK RIDGE BOYS has a resolution that’s kind of out of his control. He said, quote, “I resolve to live long enough to have an iPhone 12.”
LITTLE JIMMY DICKENS is in a Nashville hospital recovering from an undisclosed illness, but the prognosis is good. A spokesman said, quote, “Each day brings noticeable improvements, and his doctors seem pleased with the progress he’s making. His family [is] grateful for your thoughts and prayers.”
One of Jimmy’s best friends is BRAD PAISLEY . . . and he summed everyone’s feelings with this Tweet, quote, “Get well soon. Everyone adores you buddy. And I mean everyone.”
People.com spent “10 Hours, 41 Minutes and a Few Extra Seconds” following CHASE RICE around New York City . . . and then put it into a slide show. It includes a photo of him hanging out with two former teammates from his days as a linebacker for the University of North Carolina.
Some guy on a Christmas day flight from Atlanta to L.A. scared everyone on the plane by loudly singing BLAKE SHELTON’S “Boys ‘Round Here”. When he was asked to quiet down he became disruptive, and then kept hiding out in the restroom. The plane had to be diverted to Albuquerque, New Mexico. (Full Story)
