Miranda Lambert and Anderson East Enjoyed Fishing and a Romantic Dinner
Remember the early days of your relationship when you actually WANTED to go fishing together? Me neither. But it seems like MIRANDA LAMBERT and ANDERSON EAST are at that stage.
He posted a photo on Wednesday where he’s standing in a small pond holding up a fish that he just caught. He captioned it “You get a line, and I’ll get a pole, honey.” He tagged it @MirandaLambert.
They took the party inside because the same day she posted a pic of a homemade dinner of chicken and rice, and a bottle of Cabernet. That was captioned, “Farm life,” and included the hashtag #DayOff, and a heart emoji.
By the way, the Cabernet is from her “Red 55” line of wines.
Thomas Rhett and His Buddies Used to Shoot Bottle Rockets at Each Other
July 4th brings back so many memories of being an idiot kid and almost blowing my friends’ fingers off. Turns out I have something in common with THOMAS RHETT, who did similar stuff growing up in Valdosta, Georgia.
He says, quote, “We used to have bottle rocket wars in our backyard. And we would all get in tree houses and shoot bottle rockets at tree houses. We could all be blind by now with all the bottle rockets we shot at each other.”
(Now that I’m a level-headed adult, here’s a reminder that THOUSANDS of people get injured from fireworks each year. It’s a study from a few years ago, but I bet the numbers are about the same.)
TRACE ADKINS is still pretty close with DONALD TRUMP, so he was asked for his take on the whole “wall controversy.” He believes we need border security but he’s not sure if it should be a wall, or drones, or something else. Quote, “I think we need to have secure borders. We all have doors on our houses.” (Full Story)
SAM HUNT posted a slow-motion video of himself doing a between-the-legs dunk of a beach ball into a toy hoop that’s positioned next to an inflatable swimming pool. Got that? By the way . . . he totally sticks the landing into the pool.
MICKEY GUYTON’s go-to dessert is PAULA DEEN’s dump cake recipe. “[It has] pineapples, blueberries, then yellow cake mix, pecans, then melted butter on top. You bake it for 30 minutes and it tastes like this amazing cobbler.” (Delicious Audio)
CHRIS YOUNG posted a video on Facebook that he’s recording his very first Christmas album, but is having a tough time trying to decide which holiday favorites will make the cut. Quote, “I have so many I want to do that it’s hard to narrow it down to this album.
